I will be offering a Simply Adorned class in the very near future and wanted to give you sme information on this great new product we are carrying.
Our Simply Adorned line beautifully combines the best of two worlds: stamping and jewelry! We designed our Simply Adorned charms to hold a creation you design yourself, making your jewelry truly unique.
Simply Adorned charms are lockets--they open up so you can insert your custom stamped image. The Charming stamp set, along with Rub-Ons, glitter, ribbons, and other embellishments, can help you create your unique charm insert. And don't forget that you can embellish the chains with ribbon, felt flowers . . . the possibilities are endless! The frame surrounds tempered beveled glass on the front and flat glass on the back. Because there's glass on both sides of the charm, you can display an image on one side or both. You can create a custom heirloom piece that you'll never want to change, or you can swap artwork in and out, depending on your mood and your wardrobe.
And although we designed Simply Adorned charms to be jewelry, they also make delightful key chains or Christmas tree ornaments. Insert a stamped image or photo of your loved ones, tie a ribbon through the clasp, and you're done!
You will love the look of Simply Adorned and appreciate how easy it is to create custom jewelry. When you wear your own Simply Adorned necklace with artwork you created yourself, be prepared for questions about where you got it!
Our Simply Adorned line includes nickel-plated charms in three sizes and anodized stainless steel chains in two lengths.

I purchase the tiles at Menards but I am sure you can purchase them at any home builder store. I buy the tumbled marble tiles they are called Realto but truly any tile will do. These tiles do not have a glossy finish to them. They are available in all kinds of fun colors so let your imagination run wild!
1. Wash and dry the tiles, sometimes they are chalky!!!
2. Ink up the stamp using craft inks, and stamp on the tile. If you don’t like it you can rinse it off, or wipe it off with a paper towel and start again. You also can use baby wipes but I find you go through a lot and it is messy so I only use those for small areas.
3. After you have your image stamped make sure to rub the ink pad along the edge of the tile. It gives it a finished look.
4. After you have stamped your tile to your liking place it in the big embossing tray and cover it with glassy glaze. Tap off the excess and bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees

Well I went to a beautiful wedding today. When we walked out of the ceremony we realized that Bartlett Illinois had it's first snowfall that started while they were getting married!!! The couple loves snow and are headed to Colorado skiing on their honeymoon so how awesome is that!! For the rest of us in Bartlett Illinois, there were lots of accidents and some of us (me) don't love the snow quite as much as they do. However I thought it was pretty awesome, that the Lord allowed it to snow for them. Their theme was black, red and white with a Baroque motif type style (yes I see the world in Stampin Up colors and stamp sets!!) and all her gifts on her wishlist were those colors as well. Here is the gift card I made for her. It fit her wedding theme perfect.
To the left is the envelope that I attached to the gift bag and to the right is the card. It is a 6 X 6 whisper white folded in half. I put her gifts in a white bag and stamped the tissue paper to match.
Here is one of her gifts I made for her. I hope they hang it in their house for years to come. So no one asks, Soules is the last name!!!! This is done with Letterpress Alphabet Stamp Set soon to be retired!!! Contact me if you want to get one before they are gone!!! Have a great day and stay warm!

This is so stinkin cute in person! The stars in the sky are glittery and so cute! This is stamped on a blank round coaster using one of my favorite stamp sets from Stampin Up City of David!! Fantastic craft project for the kids or anyone who loves crafts!!!
Here is another coaster I stamped and turned into a gift tag!!! This uses the Stampin Up set :It's Snow time." The coasters are like 5 cents a piece when you buy them by the case!!!!! Got to love a bargain! I have only 1078 more coasters to stamp so I better go!!! Contact me if you want to learn more about stamping and coasters. I will be offering a Crazy for Coasters Class soon in my Bartlett, Illinois Stamping Studio! Stay tuned for details. Remember to sign up for email updates immediately to left side of this post and when I update www.chrisstamps.com you will get an update right in your inbox! I got a chance to play a little and stamp!!! Truely my kind of day!!!! I made these votives for my hostesses. They are so cute. Are you jealous?? I will make you one when you host a party in October!!! If you can see up close I stamped Baroque Motif with white craft ink and stamped the flower with in-colors and than quickly embossed with clear embossing power. This was a quick fun project that would be great for a gift or even favors for a shower. If you click on the picture it will show up close and you can see the detail with the embossing. Enjoy!!!

We had a great time at the Name Frame Class. Here are two samples from the evening. The first one, was done by Jamie. She was going for the warm earth tone woodsy look and I think she totally acheived it What do you think?? I love it!
The second sample, Miranda, was done by Nicole and she brought her daughter's blanket so that she could match the colors and style of her room. She did an incredible job with her name frame! Don't you think so?? I know she was very happy with it! I know I was envious!
This is such a fun project to do. They make "one of kind" inexpensive gifts that everyone will go crazy over!!! Great for wedding, christmas and Birthday gifts. All you need is one of our awesome alphabet sets. Check out the catalog link at the top of my blog, any of the sets on page 156 or 157 will work great! Have fun!!!
