Merry Christmas from my house to yours!! I hope you had an incredibly blessed day!!! Our day was filled with friends, family, and laughter just as it should be!!!! I want to share a few more cards I received in the mail!!! What a blessing to have such wonderful stampers as friends!!!
Here is a beautiful card from Carol Jennings, a friends and downline member of my team.
She did a fantastic job and used the retired stamp set Peaceful Wishes. Another stamp set I just can't part with!!! The card is embossed on glossy white card stock and it is just stunning!!!
Here is a card from another great friend, Debbie McCarthy. Gosh I love this card and now I think I need to order the stamp set, which is Simple Seasonal Thanks (item # 11548 $17.95) and only available to order until January 4th. Order it now you won't want to miss out on this great stamp set.
Isn't this a great card!!! I love the bashful blue and certainly celery together. Great job!!!
And here is a card from Jan Rice. Jan is a dear friend and has been stamping longer than I have. She always does a great job. This card is embossed in gold with dazzling diamonds and it is just gorgeous in real life!! She used the retired Scandinavian Season stamp set. I think it is so elegant and beautiful.
I sure wish you could see this one in living color! It is gorgeous!!! Don't forget that the mini catalog will be ending soon. Be sure to order any of the items you need before they are gone forever. Click on the right to place your order today.
There is nothing better than receiving handmade Christmas Cards in the mail! Here is one from my friend Kris Grasse. She used the Stampin up'Season of Joy Stamp set and I got to tell you I love her card! I love Chocolate Chip for Christmas it is so classy!!
And here is another card I received but instead of a card it is an ornament to hang on the tree!!!! ANd I love it and it went right on my tree!!! Debbie Bush, another dear friend made this and she used the stamp set City of David, which is retired. I love this set and still can't part with it!
Here are the 2 other gift tags / note tags that I made.
I saved my favorite for last I love the one that has the 2 ornaments on it form the Delightful Decorations Stamp set. (#116517 $21.95) This stamp set has a punch that matches and makes it so easy to make cards like this. (Ornament Punch #116794 $15.95 ) Both of these are only available until January 4th. So be sure to order yours before it is too late. Contact me or click order online at the right.
I made some cute note cards or they can be used as gift tags. They were really simple and easy to make. Start out with 3" x 6" card stock and fold it in half. I cut very vanilla card stock to 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 and ran it through the Big Shot with the Petals of Plenty embossing folder (LOVE THIS buy it now before it is gone item # 116824 $7.95) I then attached a snowflake die to one and punched out 2 5 petal punches to make the poinsettia flower. Quick and simple!!!! I have 2 more fun cards to share tomorrow and saved my favorite one! Check back tomorrow.
I was happy with the way this card turned out. This card was inspired by a card I saw done by Carol Matthews, a demonstrator in Nova Scotia. Here is how you make it:
Punch a 1 3/4 circle piece out of cardstock scrap. Trace around
it using an Old Olive Marker in the center of a 4 x 5 1/4piece of whisper white. It does not matter if you tracing is perfect or not, your stamping will cover it. Color pine cone stamp from the Autumn Days Stamp Set with a Chocolate Chip Marker and an Old Olive marker. Using Stamp a ma jig stamp line the stamp up so the branch is on the traced circle. Stamp around the circle until you have a full wreath. After you stamp all the way around if you have any holes fill in with holly leaf from Berry Christmas Stamp set from Berry Christmas. Stamp berries from Autumn Days Stamp set with Real Red.Now trim the cardstock in a 3 ¾ square. I find it easier to waste some cardstock after stamping than to try and center the traced circle on the exact size cardstock of the finished product.Stamp greeting from Teeny Tiny Wishes and punch out with Word Window Pinch. Punch out Modern Label Punch on scrap Real Red cardstock. Make a bow with the Red Gingham Ribbon and attach with a glue dot. If you order the supplies to make this card I will be happy to send you a sample of the card in the mail. Just let me know!!!
This is a very easy card to make! And it is sure to get a "WOW" from the crowd!!! I found the pinecone some time ago on the web, so I can not take credit for coming up with that and I don't know who the orginal creator is.
Die cut the Top Note Sizzix Die and Very Vanilla card stock and stamp with the Peace Love Joy stamp from All Holidays Stamp Set.
Punch out several scallop circles and sponge the edges with a sponge dauber using Craft White ink. You will need several 2, 3, 4, 5, petal pieces from the scallops so cut them up accordingly.
Punch out Chocolate Chip card stock with Large Oval. This is the base to build your pine cone starting at the bottom on the oval cut out piece. Start with 2 petals from scallop than 3, than 4, up to 5 and than back down to 2 at the top.
Punch out 2 flowers from the Trio Flower punch for the top of the pine cone.
The swirl is from The Swirly sizzlits decorative die.
I cut out paper thin strips of Old Olive to make pine
I have had a ton of comments about this card. It truly is my all time favorite Christmas Card. I have reposted it and also listed out all the supplies. And as a bonus if you order the supplies to make your own I will send you a free sample of this card in the mail!!!!

Here is a fun card I designed using the Holiday Best Stamp set. I used a technique that Patty Bennett invented with brayering ink on the Bride Specialty paper. When you brayer ink on the paper the glossy design resists the ink and you end up with this awesome pattern. (it looks so awesome in real life! you have to try this.)
I used the Stamp set Friends 24-7 on the left side and randomly stamped the pattern. I stamped the Merry Christmas image from Holiday Best and punched out with the Awesome new ornament punch. I also punched out an ornament with the Holiday Window Movers and shapers. This is awesome cause as you can see it is a little bigger than the punch and makes a great background! Love this card!
I participated in two different swaps and I reallygot some awesome cards back. Here is one from my upline Janice Weightman. I hope you can see all the glittery snow on the bottom is it s awesome!!!
She Used:
Wandering Words Stamps , Barely Banana, Bordering Blue, Basic Black and Whisper White cardstock along with Iridescent Ice Embossing powder and the 1 3/4 Circle Punch.

This is my all Time Favorite christmas Card. I know you are thinking Christmas!!! What is she crazy? Well there are 2 reasons I am thinking about this card. One is I am so grateful that Lovely as a Tree did not retire, it is probably one of my top five Stampin Up stamp sets. Second, believe it or not now is the best time to be planning your Christmas Cards. You can have them planned out and done when Fall hits and you will be so..... happy about that in December.

This is a card made by my friend Laura Barto. Using the It's Snow Time stamp set which is soon to be retired. I just love this set and will be so sad to see it go. If you click on the picture and look toward the top of the snowmen you will see the cropadile was used to dry emboss little snow flake circles. If you don' t know how to do this make sure to attend the Stamp Set Retirement party on he 14th of December at my house and you can make one of these cards!! RSVP NOW!! Order your stamp set now before it is to late.

I am very happy to announce that there will be a very special Christmas Card making class, Tuesday December 4, 2007 at 7 pm at the Village Church of Bartlett. We will be making 5 cards as shown in the pictures. The first picture contains 3 very practical cards you will want to have, because they are all gift card holders!!!
